Re: What are you reading?
Almost finished 'Fatal Revenant' by Stephen Donaldson - not for the faint-hearted - over 700 pages of typical Covenant twists and turns and the usual dose of dictionary reguritation.
If you enjoyed the previous Covenant books it's good.

Re: What are you reading?
I am nearly at the end of A Thousand Spendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.
What a book, it is so sad but a compelling read, I am a tough cookie, but it has reduced me to tears at times!
It is a story of physical and emotional violence, despair, but also hope of a better life.
It is so well written, just as good as his first book The Kite Runner.

I have just listened to the main three books (didn't really want to spoil it with 'when the tripods came')
Followed by The Rats (First James Herbert bookd I've read)
I listened to Space Cadet (Heinlein) last night.
And tonight I am going to listen to Rocketship Galileo (Which is apprently what destination moon was loosly based on)
Tomorrow's book is Portent by James Herbert.

Re: What are you reading?
I am reading a letter from my local council telling me that Easter is coming and the refuse collection may not be on its regular day. Every person in my area has had one of these, they were delivered first class by mail. I am fuming !
