Don't see the problem here... its just an advanced affiliate scheme. ntl are probably getting a fair slice of the money when someone signs up through their site.

Hmm well now if you have any complaints about the date who do you ring CSR'S???

I can see it now, hey that girl you sent last night I ordered a blond she wasn't, well lets pass you on to faults,

Soory sir we can send a Tec out with hair dye, we do have a space next week, will that be 8 till 12 or 1 till 6..

or even worse when the call centers move to india, try explaining whats wrong then...

She didn't come when she said she would.
When she turned up, I didn't get the bandwidth I expected.
When I asked how much to upgrade for extra services, she slapped me.
