relocating ntl broadband

i want to ask ntl to take my broadband upstairs but need to be sure if ntl will take it out of the wall and do a proper installation like they did the 1st time or just leave the wall socket where it is now and just take the wire upstairs and through the wall?

if they do the latter then i can do it myself instead of paying them £25 but i want that white wall plug upstairs next to my pc,

so what will they do?

Re: relocating ntl broadband

Rather than do it yourself call ntl to have a professional carry out the work. When you call be sure to mention that you want the outlet relocating. It would all depend on what the best option is. It might not be practical to put in a new Outlet. my advise, pay the £25 to get the job done right

Re: relocating ntl broadband

i asked this just the other day I simply wanted it to be done properly, the engineer i had before was a bit of a lazy mofo and told me to get a wireless router to save the hasstle of running a cable.

So now they sent me to complaints dept. and a manager is reviewing my case ....

TBH if i knew i could just pay £25 sodding quid I would have signed the dotted line there and then...
