Well looks like its screwed for the night.
Proxies not making much difference either.
This thread has certainly been popular tonight.

I'm going to have an early night for once.
Let's hope things improove tommorow.

I don't think the NTL can afford sending engineers working right now. That will be soooooo not cost effective. It is smart of them to infuriate a *small* segment of *loyal* *cough* and tech-savvy customers than wasting precious resources!!!!

This site is a ****ing nitemare. Takes loads of attempts to get access to post. I mainly get the sever is busy at the moment crap all the time. Been like it for the past 4 days.

Thanks asdf but I since I have to use proxy's for rapidshare i'm fine.

Things seem to be getting worse, I was uploading a 130Mb file for my website and it cut me off with only 10min to go and on 1meg it took ages to get to that point.

Renfrew area same as well. Proxies making no difference either.

Was selling stuff on e-bay that ended bout an hour ago and cant even get in to see what it went for....grrrrrr

Hi,
What i relief all this time i thought it was my wireless router and Wired Router.
Spent 3 hrs now configuring all my systems, just now able to access some sites like cable forum. Checked ntl support (this thread) and its a major fault with ntl not me. Now im calm,

Im from Ellesmere Port no sites execpt for www.ispreview hotmail and this site thats it.

Great site as usual I knew it was the first place too look.


Switched on the machine(home page BBc.co.uk) and thought what the hell is my modem on, Dam has my IE died on me then thought wait a minute its NTL were are talking about here.

Using the web painful just now in Glasgow, would not even try a game waste of time by the looks of it.

Pretty much the same here NG17, Notts. Internet slowed down loads last night and been pretty much the same since. Some sites I cannot access then try again I can.BBC very intermittent. Anyone know if NTL prob or general prob?

Tried Broadband medic to talk to advisor,says all are busy and then you have to start again, not good!!

One min Microsoft.com did not work the next it did. Seems quite sparadic.

Problems all over the country (i phoned a few fellow ntl wired mates).
