Vampire Academy was a film in 2014 I can only assume this is based on that or the book that was based on

Do you happen to know if that’s the Netflix international premiere date for Titans, or the US one? (I believe it’s carried on a different service in the USA?)

No idea, I dont recall where that date came from now, but as noted above, it looks like its moved to August anyway.
Edit: In fact, I think I got it from TVDB, and thay have updated it to Aug 12th now.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
IIRC Titans S2 dropped weekly on Netflix last time so my assumption would be that each ep will premiere on Netflix within a week of the HBO date.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
The CW has picked up a new series called Naomi as well as The 4400.
They have cancelled the Arrow Spinoff (Canaries) and also the Black Lightning spinoff (Painkiller).
The Nancy Drew spinoff (Tom Swift) is still a possibility atm.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
Is the 4400 a reboot or sequel to the original series?

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
That's unfortunate. Would have been good as a follow up.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
Yeah. What will be interesting is if it is as good as the original with scifi themes or whether they ran PC down out throat and they worry about more the cast/characters being female, black, gay and non-binary.

You can almost 100% bet there will be a gay lead character.

Oh wait, what a surprise ;

TL Thompson will star on the series as Dr. Andre, a transgender male from 1920s Harlem who uses his skills as a doctor to help treat the 4400.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
I am almost tempted to say now that I won't watch it. I'll give it ago but if the pilot is all about pushing trans issues and BLM then I am outta here.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
Hopefully he will just be trans and that's his character. They won't mention it every 5 mins.
