Freeview aerial?

Hi Gents,
Currently, I have freeview in my home, via the Living room television with built in tuner. I would like to buy another Television; but this time, I have no aerial for this television upstairs. I would like to know if I could buy an aerial suited for freeview and install it in my loft. I am under the assumption if I can receive Freeview, I will be alright. Also, if all this is possible, could you recommend a good aerial?

Can you go to this website please and enter your postcode:

The results will tell you what kind of aerial is required for your location. Tell us what it recommends and we can advise you whether that means a loft-mounted aerial will work or not.

I would think the TV downstairs is receiving Freeview from the aerial on the roof.

Before we can answer that, we need to know what Freeview reception is like in his area. The results of the Wolfbane predictor will contain that information.

If you're signal strength is good enough a loft aerial should work, or if your upstairs set is close to the existing cable run you could split the cable and use your existing aerial to feed both sets.

Hi Gents, the Freeview reception downstairs is pretty good. I receive all the channels I am suppose to.

Yes I did. It seems like I am going to be fine with the aerial.
