Access denied Grr.

This has just happened without warning.
Windows !0.
If I open File Explorer from the taskbar and click on Documents in either the 'Frequent folders' pane or the left hand vertical list after a couple of seconds of opening I then get three folders with a shortcut arrow next to them. When I try to open them I get Access Denied.

However if I go to the left hand vertical list and click on This PC those same folders appear and can be opened perfectly?

Not sure how this has happened, I was copying some pictures across from a networked laptop last night for editing with Irfanview, not done anything else that I can think of?

Jim.

Re: Access denied Grr.

Sorted, went into each folders Properties/Security/Advanced settings and found that Access to everyone was denied. Edited those settings and all is now well.
The shortcut arrows are still there so I'm guessing that those are for folders I have allowed sharing permissions on the home network.

Jim.
