Agreed 👍
Great idea.

Sky won't want their FTA channels to be seen as being too attractive, remember their main business is pay TV and broadcasting in HD costs more, with no resultant increase in ad revenue.

Re: Changes to Virgin TV (2020)
As you may know 4Seven HD is set to close on Freeview HD this coming Monday (June 22nd) but base on TiVo listings 4Seven HD will still be on Virgin Media UK after Monday (At time of posting listings are up to June 27th.) Making Virgin Media the only UK network to broadcast 4Seven HD on Virgin UK Channel 203.

Re: Changes to Virgin TV (2020)
Anyone noticed the red button isn't working on UKTV channels?

Yes, they removed it rather than adding the missing shortcut to the Yesterday content when I reported to them.

Ah right, thanks. Are they planning on putting it back do you know?

Re: Changes to Virgin TV (2020)
Maybe they thought "why bother, the UKTV Play app is coming soon..."
What with a new app every other week at the moment...
Wishful thinking maybe.
To be clear, I'm just trying (failing) to be funny, I haven't heard anything.

Re: Changes to Virgin TV (2020)
Various TV channels that were being provided to VM customers on lower packages at no extra cost have now been removed, including:
Discovery HD
Discovery History
Discovery Science
Discovery Turbo
Discovery Shed
Home & Health
I.D.
Animal Planet HD
TLC HD
Sky History HD
Sky History 2
Crime + Investigation HD
Lifetime HD
The Box
Box Hits
Kiss
Magic
Kerrang!
I imagine the VM customer forum will be flooded with 'where have all my channels gone' posts today.

That's a cheap shot. I know it's a joke but this kind of comment is well wide of the mark. Does anybody actually pay more these days for VM TV than they did a few years ago? I pay less than £100 a month for the full TV and broadband and have an unlimited mobile SIM too.

Me too! I think VM is excellent value compared with Sky.
