My elderly parents usually go bingo where they live on a Sunday but following concerns by the whole family they are staying in.

Re: Coronavirus
The reality is that there is so much that cannot be predicted or planned for, including how long precautions will have to be in place.
A large household would need a lot of supplies to last a few weeks at a time. People are panic buying because other people are panic buying. Hopefully the surge will subside and people will just buy their normal weekly needs.

BREAKING: A third person in UK, has died of Coronavirus.
Quote:
A man in his 60s has become the third person to die in the UK after testing positive for coronavirus.
The patient had "significant underlying health conditions" and was being treated at North Manchester General Hospital when he died, according to England's chief medical officer Chris Whitty.
He had also recently returned from a trip in Italy.
In a brief statement, Mr Whitty said: "I am very sorry to report that a third patient in England who tested positive for COVID-19 has sadly died.

Re: Coronavirus
The more important number is the number of people with the virus. That is what gives an indication of the spread and potential for more deaths.

Re: Coronavirus
Anyway Cornavirus is a respiratory virus and toilet paper really shouldn't be an issue as loose bowels are not a symptom of said virus.
It is if people are shitting themselves

It keeps in the cupboard for ages. The people who are hoarding it will have been googling what food to stockpile in a crisis and have found a load of mental survivalist websites.

As long as one infected person remains unquarantined it has the potential for most people to be infected. Remember this all started because one Chinese man was bitten by a bat (supposedly).
