Re: Timeless
It will help but moving it to air 1 hour earlier isnt going to double your viewers. If it is good and peopke want to watch it that much then 1 hour is nothing in the grand scheme if things.

Re: Timeless
On the face of it, Timeless looks doomed.
It is popular with the powers though, pretty cheap to produce, and apparently does well overseas, all of which help.

I agree, just thought I'd mention the rumour. Also worthy of note is that Nielsen also have social media ratings which may/may not help and also Timeless came top of a USA Today poll of which series to keep for the second year running allegedly. ( https://www.reddit.com/r/Timeless/co...ur_shoes_poll/)
Make of it what you will General.
FWIW I'd like to see it renewed as well as others but I don't run a netwrok.

Re: Timeless
It's officially been cancelled.....again

Quote:
Time’s up for Timeless: NBC has officially passed on making a third season of the show, EW has learned.
The cult-favorite time-travel drama has been axed by the network after a lengthy decision-making process over whether to renew the show for weeks.
Friday’s news will surely be disappointing for fans because the season 2 finale ended on a major cliffhanger. All may not be lost, however: Sources say there are discussions between the network and studio Sony Pictures Television about wrapping things up in a two-hour movie — if they can find a financially agreeable path. But those talks have been going on for awhile and it’s unclear if anything will come of them.

Although I don't watch the series stuff like this does my head in and I just want to punch someone. You know the reasons for doing it are purely selfish and only serve to screw the audience/fans over. After what happened in season 1 they should have known there was a good chance of it being cancelled again and they should have taken the opportunity to semi-close it up (like they did with The Crossing) to give some sense of closure to the fans just in case. Instead they obviously left it on a ridiculous cliffhanger hoping to get the fans all railed up hoping there would be enough of an uproar to get the series renewed again.

Re: Timeless
It did get fans going. There was a big campaign on Twitter with William Shatner even posting trying to help get it renewed.
Hope they do the movie.

It seems unlikely unless someone stumps up some cash. The actors contracts expire next saturday.

It's not going to happen. If they didn't do it for Dark Matter they aren't going to do it for this.
