Virgin b/b issue

Here's a one for you, just checked my virgin bill for another reason and seen Vivid 200 on my broadband, did a test and found it to be the usual 75.
Phoned Virgin tech people and they did whatever was required at their end to get 200 he handed me back to billing to talk about a refund.
Checked my bills back to January and found it on all of them.
Cheeky sods then confessed to charging me since last July and said it was my problem for not telling them I had a problem.

Its like the garage selling you 2 star in a 4 star pump
I must be due some money back ?
Cheers
Dave

Re: Virgin b/b issue

I agree, it is their fault and you have been charged for a year for a service that you have not been receiving.

Re: Virgin b/b issue

Definitely due a refund for a service you've not been receiving, if CEO aren't willing to help, take it to the ombudsman

Same happened to me last year. I didn't bother chasing/escalating.

My question to them was that if I didn't know about speed tests, and I was a non-techy person, how would I know? It fell on deaf ears.
