I'm so glad that it's over for a while.
I've offered the nurses £50 a day to keep Big eldest there a bit longer than necessary but they were having none of it.
I didn't mean to be cryptic - I needed to know that it went well first

Glad all is well with them all and all the best to all of you

I was going to write something else - a joke around rhyming slang with 'Gary Glitter' but sadly that joke is no longer usable in polite company

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Thank You all for your kind thoughts and wishes.
My goodness, it's a big deal! Next time I hear someone say they donated a kidney they will have my complete respect from me - it sounds so simple!
The nurses won't be swayed on the bribe front. Even the ward sister won't budge. You have too find a giggle somewhere don't ya?
The work that that hospital dept does is amazing.
Being around, and chatting to, people going through post op and all sorts of so many conditions really opened my eyes.
Help! - I'm next on the list!

Glad it all went well! My step Aunt donated one to my step Mum a few years ago & they're both still going strong...
