Wierd -- Usually we would see shoplifters make a run for it w/o trying to be seen but these guys just casually stroll out of the store during what appears to be regular business hours. Sad things have gotton so bad no one cares to stop them!!

Knives or guns mate you never know what they got. And on top of that would you risk your life for a couple of trollies of wire? no wage is enough for that

In an effort to reduce their population during COVID, many jails in Oregon aren’t taking offenders of certain crimes — theft being one of them.
Copeland said in a case like this, the men would most likely be fined, cited and then released.
In Sullivan's video, as the men are leaving, a Lowe’s security guard repeatedly asks them to show her their receipt.
When a second security guard attempts to intervene as the men leave the store, the first guard stops the second and says, “Hey don’t do this. It’s not worth it.”

What are the security guards there for, if not to stop crimes committed in the store?

Would you risk your life for a couple of trollies full of wire?

A guard had already approached them. Is there actually that many examples of attacks on security guards in that situation?

So doesn't actually answer my question, does it?

Stop with the silly digs at each other.
There really was no need for any of the latest replies here, all deleted.
