A (rather than the) Greek version slow cooked, but not in tomato or a packet (the person cooking it comes from Portaria, near Volos, and apparently there are many ways of cooking Kleftiko).

I cooked a couple of pig hearts for our elderly cat (he needs the taurine found in heart muscle). I gave our lad a bit and he loved it, but not as much as the cat did.
