Mines a DC14 Animal, and it's been really good and can't fault it. I've had it for quite a few years now. The only downside is that it's just getting a bit too heavy to use for me just lately.

My comment was my crap attempt at humour. Vacuum - sucks etc.

I've got a 25-year-old British-made Dyson. Mains powered and noisy but still going strong!

Not sure why anyone is surprised, it what unregulated capitalists do especially when so much personal wealth removes all sense of obligation to their own country and its citizens.

I personally think that large corporates should be made to employ minimum numbers people (not on min wage) in the country they generate revenue from.

I think I’ve done very well not to mention my favourite brand of vacuum cleaner

Why would every country in the world need to do this? Just the ones where large corporates generate large revenues with minimal investment and pay low tax. I'd start with the US and Europe. Time we stopped being so servile to the large corporates & the ultra wealthy. Unless, of course, you like the servile approach to life

They do need them. You would rather the person they need be in the Far East than the UK?
