Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

Brock Lesnar retires from MMA.

No one in his camp will admit this but I don't think he was scared of Cormier running him over which was inevitable but rather that he's struggling without the PED's in both WWE and MMA and thus is currently using them again. Note the telltale signs and the blatant weight loss earlier this year when he entered the testing pool in comparison to now. Mark hunt got shafted by Lesnar but Cormier won't go near him without persistent testing. Lesnar can't make any sort of shape to fight legitimately without them.

I have my reasons to believe the guy was always doping in the UFC but his step up in competition against Heavyweight monsters exposed him anyway. Its still an achievement nonetheless. My actual issue is Lesnar is at the forefront for dodging the WWE wellness policy by utilising part time contracts. Is he the only one guilty? Nah, Dwayne The Rock Johnson was and still is juiced to the gills throughout his return run.

Onto the other crossover star whom failed miserably. CM Punk allegedly participated in a wrestling event. The guy has no MMA career worth speaking about at this point but I refuse to believe he'll never return to WWE. If Bret Hart can I'm sure he can.

Final note: For the love of God do more with Braun Strowman.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

WWE sign Goldberg to multi year deal. This will be your typical part time contract and besides an upcoming Saudi PPV I can imagine his appearances will be limited and the entire thing is actually an exclusivity contract after it was suspected he was about to sign for AEW. No word on what he's working but both Lesnar and Undertaker are scheduled and both have no existing feuds. So a potential triple threat that nobody asked for and is a car crash waiting to happen.

It's a scripted dramatised pay per view event waiting to happen.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

Taker needs to retire before he does some serious damage to his body, I imagine next year he will be the headline inductee to the HoF. Pleased Lesnar is staying, but Goldberg? Really? I have never been a fan of him, the way he was pushed in WCW then WWE has totally put me against him. That's a massive mistake for WWE.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

His first WWE push had more to do with major players leaving. The Rock was on the way out of the door and the Raw brand was literally being carried by Triple H and at the time had Kane in and out of the main event picture. This being the Kane that was remarkably awful to watch.

His second 'push' had very little to do with WWE. The squash match against Lesnar was entirely the idea of Lesnar. He knew Goldberg was carrying an injury and was limited and he also wanted to push the 'rivalry' further than a one and done. The mistake they made was basically taking a title off somebody for no reason other than to setup a Goldberg vs Lesnar WM match that didn't need a title.

Ultimately he's just a powerhouse wrestler with a limited skill set and was billed for the majority of his career as a monster. His only purpose in the industry now is to play the Once in a blue moon surprise return to squash a comedic jobber and leave. I can't see a return match in Saudi going any further. As above the entire purpose of him signing with WWE is literally so he gets paid not to join AEW.

Further information on Lesnar not returning to UFC doesn't just suggest its because he can't dope up anymore but also because UFC changed the way top fighters get paid. UFC are refusing to give fighters a % of the PPV revenue and are instead offering flat fees. This was the second reason Conor McGregor refused to sign a fight deal after the first being he couldn't have shares in the UFC. Lesnar believes a % would net him more than the flat fee against Cormier. He's probably right. There's Lesnar fans and then there's just as many that would relish seeing Cormier tear him to shreds. It would be a decent seller.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

Absolutely stunned that Vince Mcmahon hasn't been removed or resigned after information that he persuaded then WWE superstar and the late Ashley Massaro to not pursue rape charges after an incident overseas. Absolutely covered the entire thing up with the help of others.

Not sure where WWE are going anymore. I stopped frequenting it years ago but it was never this bad. The ratings are tanking, net profits are dwindling and superstars are wanting out. For on screen events. Poor decisions just unfold week by week. The decision to reintroduce Brock Lesnar almost immediately has been met with horrid reviews and rightly so. Desperately signing old talent (Goldberg) before AEW made offers, pure desperation.

Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

I know that WWE NXT is coming to the USA Network on September 18th.

What about the UK?

A) Not broadcasting in UK?
B) Will launch on Sky Sports then move to BT Sport in 2020?
C) Will launch on BT Sport?
