I don't think that's right.

The EFL matches are available on Sky Sports on VM:
https://www.virginmedia.com/corporat...ed-button.html

iFollow isn't on VM but is a separate streaming service

The article says iFollow from the EFL will be on VM but they may have got confused. The Sky Sports offering is a separate offering of fewer matches and apparently uses fewer cameras.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2018)

If you read the article carefully at no point does it say that service will be on VM.

The games will through Sky.

The EFL website states “Sky Sports will have the right to stream the same Championship fixtures to subscribers across their interactive and digital services.”

The BroadbandTVNews article does say that iFollow will be on VM.

It doesn’t. I’m not being deliberately a argumentative but the paragraph:

“The matches, which are also being carried on Sky Sports Red Button service and Virgin Media, are being offered by iFollow at a cost of £10 per match.”

The games are on Sky and Virgin Media, but it doesn’t say the delivery method is via iFollow.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2018)

Have to agree with jfman - it doesn't say that iFollow will be on VM.

The matches are on Sky Sports Red Button, VirginMedia and iFollow. Three different services.

Sorry, my mistake, I misread it and thanks for pointing this out. The Guardian has a bit more on the service. https://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2018...k-efl-matches/

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2018)

No worries, easily done.

I unfortunately spend my life arguing over what things say and what they don’t, so have plenty of practice.

I agree it’s poorly written, and that someone skimming it could easily come away with your interpretation.

There is an app called Facebook Video, if you have a firestick or Android device you can watch it on the TV.

I realise it's jumping through hoops at the minute but until the channel comes....

jj20x appears to indirectly confirm this to be the case across the network (if you combine it with the information on digitalbitrate).

That notification is also on TiVo Boxes.

At time of posting we do not know if Disney XD +1 is also being axe by Disney on other networks in the UK and Ireland or just Virgin Media UK.
It's still in the EPG here with the listings continuing all the way to 1st September.

With Virgin Media UK no longer broadcasting Disney XD +1 do anyone else think we may get the missing HD Channels of Disney XD, Disney Channel and Disney Jr. in the coming months?
