Multtasking on Amazon Fire tablet
- specifically, I would like to set a music track playing and then, e.g., read a document. At the moment, this doesn't seem possible - the moment I switch tasks the track stops playing. Any ideas, guys?

Does the sound work through headphones?

What app are you playing the music on?

Re: Multtasking on Amazon Fire tablet
Headphones, i.e. does it fact cut out...hadn't thought of that.
(I just tried it, but it does still cut out)
I just use the built-in facility, i.e. select the track and it starts playing.

Re: Multtasking on Amazon Fire tablet
You might need to try a different app for listening to music then.
What is the app called and does it just stream the music or is it stored on the device?

Re: Multtasking on Amazon Fire tablet
It's not an app, just the device's own player (or whatever!); the music in question is stored on the device, not streamed.

Re: Multtasking on Amazon Fire tablet
Its a flaky thing the Amazon Fire; they've just had to replace mine, wouldn't charge any longer. Its almost a disposable tablet.
