Re: Stuttering, faltering, stopping
Often pulling the power cord out leaving it 30 seconds fixes things on electrical devices.

Re: Stuttering, faltering, stopping
Anyone know why the 30 seconds is neccesary?
I would have thoughg that it would work immediately after a loss of power; maybe the V6 (& other devices) retain a little power and carry on working for a very short time after power disconnection??

Re: Stuttering, faltering, stopping
It just gives the power chance to go from the electronics.

Re: Stuttering, faltering, stopping
There's often some "housekeeping" that is done after the plug is pulled using the residual power stored in the capacitors.
A hard reset like this re-initialises memory allocation. Poor coding results in slow memory leaks that eventually use up the resource. Think of a PC slowly loosing memory. It would get progessively slower and more hesitant.

Glad it worked, Allen! It's exactly the same as a computer when it plays up. Very rarely has that not worked for me.
