Not just that but:

Over the last few months Viacom has:

-Axe BET +1 so that 5* + 1 did launch on Sky.
-Axe VIVA so that Spike TV can launch on Freeview.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2015) Vol. 1

Can someone please explain to me why VM always seem to 'air' foreign channels ie and Arab channel, and yet anything else. They cannot be bothered with.

I believe that VM should have a survey with subs' and ask them 'what' channels they would like to have on the VM system

Or is it that the Directors who run VM wake up in the morning and ask themselves, what can we annoy the customers with today

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2015) Vol. 1

Just reading on Recombu that the 5th series of The Walking Dead will be on the new Spike channel. Along with Breaking Bad, Sons Of Anarchy and Justified, it's starting to look like a very good channel along with the reality junk.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2015) Vol. 1

Why the fascination with having so many channels ? I'd sooner have fewer with stronger schedules , I fully understand why the broadcasters want them.

Take Spike TV as an example no HD simulcast and on the Sky EPG at 160 goodness knows how many pages down.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2015) Vol. 1

BBC Red Button + comes to Virgin Media TIVO boxes in April.

http://advanced-television.com/2015/...utton-service/

BBC revamps Red Button service

The BBC is revamping its Red Button service for connected TVs. The broadcaster’s Connected Red Button platform will be rebranded as Red Button+ next month, and gain a range of additional features in the process.
The revamp will enable users to access BBC iPlayer via the red button on their remote control, and the amount of live-streamed content on offer from BBC Sport will be increased. Viewers can also browse news stories, video highlights and weather forecasts in a separate window without leaving the channel they are watching.

Red Button+ will be available on TVs from Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic, Sharp, Toshiba and more, as well as services from EE, YouView, and Tivo.
