Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Last week we returned home to find a beautiful bouquet of flowers on our doorstep (no note), I have asked around all the usual suspects who may have sent it, but to no avail. I was flattered to think that perhaps I had a secret admirer, however our son burst my bubble by saying it was probably left at the wrong house. Happy thought ?

Or better still, you smiled at someone who needed it, or they saw you looking low and sent them to make you smile.

I'll hang on to that lovely thought Hom3r, even though it may not be true, will I ever find who sent them, who can say?

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Yesterday I had a knock on the door, it was the daughter of my next-door neighbour asking for help.
Her mum had slipped off the end of the bed and was seating on the floor (clothed), and she couldn't get her up on her own.
I donned a mask and helped get her back up.
When I came home later, my dad said that the daughter had dropped a box of Milk Tray over as a thank-you.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
This morning while walking to the Men's Shed, a little dog came running over to me, and dropped a tennis ball at my feet, the owner said she wants me to throw it.
So I did, and off she ran then came back and again dropped it at my feet.
I did this several times while talking to the owner.

Took a timeout this morning to drive over and go for a walk in the local woodland*. Sunny, calm and quite warm. So quiet that you could hear the leaves falling down from the trees and so colourful at the moment.
*Angmering Park Estate.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
On Monday, I had a message from a job agency about a job and to call them.
I tried to speak to the person twice, but was unable to, and they didn't call back.
On Wednesday, I went to the agency to speak to them, but they weren't in, nor did they call back.
Today I was at the shed, and she called, and said that her client had seen my CV, and they had another job that might be of interest, and as me more details what a Technical Librarian job was which I told her.
I got home and got a call about another I had applied for from a company I left in 2005, and would start the ball rolling on an interview.
I then got an email from the first Agency and I have an interview at 4pm tomorrow, both jobs are local.
