Re: UHD on Virgin Media
Has anyone noticed that if you are searching for movies or TV shows on sky channels. The on demand some have the UHD logo next to them for example “Sky Cinema Special” & “Code 404”. When you click to watch the program or movie it’s only HD...could this mean that virgin is getting ready to have 4K programming and movies from Sky?

Yes, it’s been like this for a few months now.
The work is in (very slow) progress on this one.

This is the crux of the issue Old Boy has. He isn't happy to be proven wrong. People must adhere to his (lack of) vision. With one dimensional delivery models that are neither desirable nor likely in the timeframe he suggests but I suspect he will move the goalposts once more before 2035.

What you are actually trying to say is some members have a fact based different viewpoint to yours....

You are a fine one to talk about a lack of vision!

On the contrary, Old Boy. I see a rich, diverse television landscape.
You can’t see past streaming only. Although we can all see you now try to conflate streaming with IPTV in a further goalpost shift to mirror your 2025 to 2035 shift. It’s quite tiresome and transparent.
Starting sentences with “I’ve been clear all along...” doesn’t made it true and your post history exists to contradict you.

Ones that are substantiated and verifiable...

I get it for the princely sum of £1.60 per month, so not really bothered if Virgin get it or not.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
Looking at the EPG from the 18th December the Virgin UHD Channel is starting at 2pm and will include movies including Backdraft, Psycho, The Big Lebowski, Robin Hood and quite a few more,
Maybe finally we might see Sky Cinema UHD very very soon

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
I don't think any of these films are Sky Cinema ones, but seeing films appear on the channel is great. However, the on screen logo on the Big Lebowski tonight is massive! Completely over the top
