I bought a sim free emergancy phone from e2save. Ok you have to buy £10 credit but the phone cost me 99p £10 credit but got £7 cashbashback through topcashback. So you could have a phone and get your new Apple without a design flaw ( spose you could call it grade B or a Second hehehehehehehe)

Maybe..See what they do. I don't need it for calls as much as I need it for internet, e-mail, apps and so on.

Re: The iPhone thread
here's one for 3GS owners.
I wanted to show some pics to a friend so I synched up one of my phot albums with the iPhone. The pics were taken with my 8 Mega Pixel camera but they just look rubbish when I view them on the iphone, far worse than the 2 MP ones i've taken on there.
Did a quick google but not much came up

Re: The iPhone thread
I think that iTunes 'processes' them into a format more compatible with the 'phone before it transfers them.

Re: The iPhone thread
I had to laugh at Jobs there, saying it happens with other phones too, lol. Then spouting all the sales stats, trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes and softening it with, here we think its fine but have a free case anyway!

Re: The iPhone thread
I'll be getting the free case. I like my phone and I don't get the signal problem, I can replicate it but I can't do it naturally, even though I have it in my left hand a lot (using my right hand to touch screen) so I won't go for the refund.

I bought a Bumper when I bought the phone, so I'll be claiming my £25 back
I'll then put that towards an Otterbox Defender

Re: The iPhone thread
I love RIM's comment:
Quote:
One thing is for certain, RIM’s customers don’t need to use a case for their BlackBerry smartphone to maintain proper connectivity.
|
And I think this point from Nokia is key:
Quote:
we prioritize antenna performance over physical design if they are ever in conflict.
|
I've seen some clips of the conference and the arrogance of Jobs epitomises why I hate him and Apple so much. Rather than being contrite they are bolshy. Yet I am sure there are plenty of fans who'll lap it up.
