No
Because the maximum figures is for Maxdsl where as skys 16mb is ADSL2+
My line says between 6.5mb and 8mb on Maxdsl

Why is your line so bad that you automatically condemn everyone elses to the same level?

did you read my post or just ignore what I said.
my comment is based on published BT data not my line.
although my line has a very high attenuation for the length, my synch of 4500 with a 15snr margin is very high for the attenuation.
You had to scout to find people with 3meg on 58 attenuation, good for you, I could do the same but I could also find people with only 512kbit on the same attenuation, bit of a biased view coming from yourself.
But to put this to rest here for you.
http://www.adslguide.org/newsarchive.asp?item=2846
so its nearer 42% for 8mbit, but for 16mbit it will be below 25%. The reason why the % of people on LLU with high speeds is high is because many LLU providers simply refuse to even provision bad lines cherry picking their customers.

Re: Sky Broadband
so with these results you saying i can get 6MB on ADSL2+ on sky, sorry im a noob at ADSL
You are connected to the Bracknell telephone exchange.
ADSL is available in your area Your exchange is also enabled for ADSL Max services
According to BT Wholesale, your line should be able to support a 3Mbps or greater ADSL connection via ADSL Max.
Standard ADSL RAG results:
You cannot receive 2Mbps ADSL You may be able to receive 1Mbps ADSL You can receive 512Kbps ADSL You can receive 256Kbps ADSL

In that case you will never know what speed you will get until your connected.
Without line stats its impossible to tell as even though your 1.67km from the exchange your line will almost likely take a longer route and could pick up noise on the way.

Re: Sky Broadband
if you with ntl I dont suggest getting adsl unless ntl is particurly bad in your area or you need something one of the niche adsl providers can give you.

can work the other way tho, you are in an llu area?
I went from £35 10meg/512 ntl to £27 4meg/448 guess which I prefer.
I could have got cheaper adsl but then I would have to put up with shaping etc. None of the llu providers other then sky will touch my line with a barge pole.
