Re: Diane Abbott apologises in 'race' row
I would say 'white privilege', would refer to white people being disproportionately represented in the upper tiers of society, be that business, politics, or sport. I would have to say that I probably agree with that. A lot of it isn't intentional but is more institutionalised.
I certainly don't think there is such a thing as 'black privilege', the odd MP doesn't really count. You look around and would have to say that white males have an easier time ascending to the top than anyone else.

John Terry being prosecuted and being guilty are two differrent things.
Big Ron wasn't sacked on the spot though was as he co-commentator didn't think it was an issue nor did the production staff - he was sacked as ITV didn't like the bad publicity.
Banned not sacked and still takes home a reported £90k + salary and only three months after the incident he say sorry but will continue to say the word off the pitch.
Also you know Mr Suarez is mixed-race, next thing you'll be telling me Ryan Giggs is white

IIRC he was 'parachuted' into his post as a MP in a safe seat when his wife Harriet Harman had been campaigning endlessly for all female shortlists. Odd that eh? lol

What is the lifestyle of an MP - so her being middle class and kids going private school make her privileged.
Sir, no no no
but it was a so so sweet attempt

Re: Diane Abbott apologises in 'race' row
Personally, I think that we, as a people, should stop classifying people by colour. IMO, people are people. Some are attractive, some ugly. Some nice, some nasty. Some good, some evil. This applies to people of *all* colours.
And for those who think racism only goes one way, look at Zimbabwe. There is a country where the government is devoted to taking from the white man.

Ok so John Terry being prosecuted doesn't matter, Atkinson being sacked was pure epxediency and Suarez being banned is irrelevant even though he's not black. It still all adds up to a white conspiracy..... Fancy some mayo with your chips matey?

Suarez and Atkinson were dealt with, they both lost out because of their actions. Terry's situation isn't over yet so we don't know what will happen but if he's found guilty he will be dealt with too.
And Giggsy is Celtic white - I am the same.

Well if there is enough pressure applied she will be deservedly sacked.
