Canada have taken a sensational 2-0 lead over England in the second round of the Cash Converters World Cup of Darts in Hamburg.
World No 98 Ken MacNeil claimed a stunning 4-3 victory over 15-time world champion Phil Taylor in the opening singles.
And former world champion John Part then followed that up by edging out current world champion Adrian Lewis by the same scoreline in the second match of the tie.
Part raced 3-1 ahead before Lewis hit back with two superb legs to set up the deciding leg, which Part captured in style with a brilliant 140 finish.

Defending champions Holland are also being given a run for their money by Austria, who beat New Zealand in the afternoon session.
Raymond van Barneveld - who won the inaugural staging of the tournament when partnered with Co Stompe - gave the Dutch a winning start with a 4-3 victory over Dietmar Burger.
But Mensur Suljovic beat Vincent van der Voort by the same scoreline to leave the tie hanging in the balance.

England pair Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis scraped past America's Darin Young and Gary Mawson to reach the Cash Converters World Cup of Darts semi-finals on Saturday night.
The duo will be joined in the last four in Hamburg by Australia, Wales and reigning champions Netherlands.
Taylor and Lewis had needed a sudden-death leg to defeat Canada in the second round of the £150,000 tournament - and were again pushed hard as the American pair almost caused a huge upset.
Taylor lost his Singles game with Mawson 4-3 before Lewis edged out Young by the same scoreline in a dramatic second clash, before the world champion helped to secure a 4-2 victory in their doubles contest

Quote:
The Welsh progressed to the semi-finals in dramatic fashion against South Africa following a thrilling tie, which saw Webster whitewash Shawn Hogan before Devon Petersen produced a 12-darter to defeat Burnett 4-3.
|
Quote:
Australia saw off Belgium in their quarter-final, with Simon Whitlock defeating Kurt Van De Rijck 4-0 before Kim Huybrechts impressed in a 4-2 win over Paul Nicholson.

Quote:
Netherlands, meanwhile, secured their spot in the last four with a 4-0 defeat of Northern Ireland.

England duo Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis teamed up to claim World Cup glory with victory over Australia in Sunday night's final in Hamburg.
The English pair appeared to be cruising to victory over Paul Nicholson and Simon Whitlock after racing 3-0 ahead with successive singles victories.
However, when Nicholson beat two-time reigning world champion Lewis and the Aussie duo claimed a 7-4 victory in the doubles, the title was to be decided by a sudden-death leg.
'The Power' got England the throw when he nailed the bull and, despite allowing the Aussies five darts at the match, Lewis was allowed to return to seal the win on double five

What was that you were saying again Colin.

Kevin Painter says he is thrilled to be taking part in the Premier League of darts ahead of his debut in the competition on Thursday.
Painter, from Daventry, and Andy Hamilton are the two wildcards joining the top six in the world.
"To be recognised as one of the eight best players in the world on form is a great achievement," Painter told BBC Radio Northampton.
"There were several other players who had a shout so I'm really pleased."
He added: "I like to think that when I'm up on stage I put on a decent show in front of seven or eight thousand people. People don't won't to be bored, they want players to play up to the crowd."

World number one Phil Taylor plays the man who wants to dethrone him on the opening night of the McCoy's Premier League 2012 in Manchester on Thursday.
Stoke pair Taylor and world No 2 Adrian Lewis, respectively the 15-time world champion and current world champion, clash in the highest profile of four games to be played on the first of 14 league nights at venues around the UK and Ireland.
The duo teamed up last weekend to win the World Cup of Darts for England, but will put aside their friendship when they take to the oche in front of 8,000 fans.
"I'm very determined now to win the McCoy's Premier League Darts title back and I'll be very focused on Thursday," said Taylor, who has won the vent five times.
"Playing with Adrian last weekend and winning the World Cup was great, but that means nothing on Thursday night when we get on stage because I've only got one goal in mind - winning the two points.
"The World Cup was brilliant match practice and I'm happy with my form so it should be a fantastic game with Adrian."

Re: Darts 2012
HAve you noticed how fat James Wade has got? He used to go out with Helen Chamberlain from Soccer AM didn't he?
ALso I was watching the Hamilton Wade match with my 7 year old daughter. She loved it, more so because she was able to test her mental maths. And who said TV wasn't educational?
