Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
Well, I did another 3 miles yesterday, so I'm currently at 22 out of the 30 that I need to do to complete the challenge - couple of days off, then finish it by the end of the week
After that, I may actually weigh myself, and take it from there

Your absolutely right Chris, I'm not very overweight, well I don't think I am and loosing 2 stone in total should do me just right, that gets me back to my fighting weight as I like to call it.
I'm reasonably active in the summer and can easily loose a stone, so keeping it off for a while shouldn't be too difficult.
The problem arises in the winter when I'm a bit more house bound but one step at a time for now.

I have to lose a stone so hopefully I can lose that as well with the exercises I will be doing in the pool.

Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
Keep up the good work everyone, seems like most of us are doing well. I think I have come to a plateau, as the scales do not appear to be moving. I am trying different things today, for example I had porridge for breakfast. Normally would have two slices of nimble with tomato and low cal cheese spread. It will be four weeks on Thursday since I started cutting down, if I can just lose 1lb this week I will be well chuffed.

It's the 30 in 30 challenge on the MapMyRun website - as simple as it sounds, I need to run 30 miles in 30 days. I'm at 22 with 6 days to go, so I may even attempt a sneaky (and slow!) 4 miles tonight

Well done that girl! At this rate you will be entering for the London marathon lol!
I have my class tomorrow, and hopefully they will have remembered to bring the scales with them this time. I'm not looking forward to it, the subject is Move more -Physical activity , hope that doesn't mean they will have us prancing around like a bunch of whats-its?
