Why would you get compensation as the issue was with the ITV who is the broadcaster not Virginmedia.
It was broadcast on the normal channel without any advertisement for a car as the was no fault with the normal broadcast.
If you are not happy contact ITV.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
Can I remind people that bad language is never acceptable on Cableforum, even starred out words especially when the meaning is clear
As ITV can't play or win the contest let's please get back to the sport and not concentrate on ITV's mistakes

I was being cynical towards ITV, Masque.
Lets see what happens today with the broadcast. I think that Ger v. Aus should be interesting... more PL stars on show!

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
My honest answer on England's performance, was poor, pathetic, and win the wc on this performance, what a laugh, now Capello is blaming the new ball they used.
I knew deep down that King should not have gone, he is injured, and Capello should have done the kindest thing and lfet him at home and taken Huddlestone, who can whack the ball with back from the back.
We have to now WIN the next game or forget it, If Alegria and Slovenia score a lot of goals, then England have to win, there next few games top at least get into the next round.
Drop Green and bring in James or Hart who have clout in the box, in fact l totally surprised that James wasn't in from the start.

Completely agree Arthur, i thought some of the play was shocking, the ball control was pretty much non-existent and the players didn`t seem to have a clue about what they where supposed to be doing.
I really hope that Capello realises that Gerrard and Lampard cannot play together in the same team to the same standard as normal. The player i think England missed most was Gareth Barry, he seems to be able to put his foot on the ball (without losing it) and just play the simple ball to get things moving.
The fact Green made such a howler should have inspired the team to go out and win the game to make him feel better.
It`s not the first time Green has made a basic error, i just don`t think he`s up to it!

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
PMSL I love Americans The only way I can see that headline working is if the full story made out that they "won" in that they were the better team in the match, not something I agree with. Maybe they see it as a victory as they managed a draw against us, cant blame them for that.
Still a funny headline though
