Re: 50Mb areas
There is some consideration to increasing the upload speed, but I don't think they have settled on any speed or date yet

Re: 50Mb areas
Good to see them sticking to their guns regarding the activiation / install costs on the 50Mbit.

I'd suggest using the odd £30 you saved to buy a new keyboard yours seems to be broken, you can't type a 'g' after an 'n'
There are speedtests and a load of discussion on the upload speed here.
Sorry, I just have an extreme allergy to text speak on the Internet, it's there for texts because of the huge cost, horrid keyboard you type with and short message size, none of which apply here

If you were to click on the Connection tab do you come off the actual Belfast hubsite or another one?
I think Belfast you'd see blfs in there or similar.

Depending what you read and where 2.5Mbit is the target once upload bonding is in place or the target is 2.5Mbit prebonding and 5Mbit afterwards.
Still rubbish when you think that a lot of providers offer 5Mbit - 10Mbit without bonding.

Re: 50Mb areas
5Mb up should be the norm for 50Mb down, maybe they will shock us and give us 10Mb (Yeah Right).
TBH I'd settle for 5Mb though.

Re: 50Mb areas
The 50Mb speed test is for testing at install and by technical support only
They have apparently already had to move servers once because people on the lower tiers were using it and skewing the results for the 50Mbit customers
