Re: Football Close Season Thread
La Liga now has the three best players in the world playing in it.
Being good for the premiership is the last thing this transfer is

OK, as much as it pains me to say this - you've got some qwal-itee players, but his antics brought you down. Thats all i'm saying on the matter

You seem to be forgetting that Didier Dogbreath is more of a diver than anyone...

Dogbreath not a star player then? Or is it because Ronnie plays for United?

I am refering to the "winker" who was forgiven by the united fans and even shrek for his sending off.

People are still on about this? Did Ronaldo winking at a team-mate cast some sort of spell to travel back in time and force Rooney to violently stamp on an opposing player who was nowhere near the ball?
Please get a grip! I'm an Arsenal fan and even find your comment ridiculous.

United fan for 24 years and he did nothing that required forgiving.

yeah get your point , but we were still successful even though Veron was overpriced (he was one of Fergies european players , he was great in europe , crap in premiership) , Forlan has proved he is a great player , unfortunately couldn't cut it at a big club even though he is a legend for scoring twice against Liverpool .
It makes for a much more interesting transfer window , had Ronaldo stayed i think we would have been relatively quiet , i expect a few high profile signings now .
Sorry edit : Nani , not looking good for the lad at the moment, he has an amazing first touch and a good shot on him , very immature , i'm thinking a large run of games would either make him or break him.

No one is worth 80 million
I know that CFT might transfer this new thread to the football season page, but l find myself in complete shock that the football authorities can allow this transfer to go ahead.
We have heard clubs selling players for 30 / 40 / and now 80 million, the people that will suffer is US the fans, that will get ripped off by clubs and companies that sell the products that go with the clubs. Wether players go to British clubs or foriegn clubs, it will go down for clubs to increase entrance fees, that will mean it will be us that has to pay in the end.
Wether, it was my clubs signing the player, it is too much for a player, and when you think, in this time, when companies are letting off staff due to money troubles.

No, only a non-English United fan would say that. I seriously couldn't care what happens to the England team.

Arthur mate, how about you make it easy for us and not start a new thread on an existing subject?

Not necessarily true! This English person couldn't give a hoot about her national team, I'd rather watch Spain
