Hi all, The EDM has had another MP sign up today and the petition is going well. The Labour Party has been very slow to act on this issue, however their quick enough to send our soldiers to war! If you have a Labour MP as your constitunecy Minister then please email them via the Royal British Legion link on this thread. once they send you a reply please place it on here for others to read and act upon.

Dont forget about the Petition, which you can sign to show your support.

Well Mr Peter Viggers MP has received one of my emails because I too have had a letter from him which is also on House of Commons paper.

Peter Viggers says he has signed EDM 288.

He also states that he has been

I'm pleased to hear this as a good many of his constituents have been, are and will be servicemen as the town of Gosport has had very long associations with all branches of the services.

Sadly we have lost the battle for HMH Haslar but I think this is an even more important battle that can be won.

The EDM has now reached 200 signatures and the Petition continues to grow. To all those that have had a reply from their MPs, well done for pushing them. This issue will be upsetting some MPs, but at least we have got them to address the issue and its affects on service leavers and Veterans. Please keep up the great work and keep the site informed of any movement by your MP on this issue.

I'm waiting for the DCLG to give me the information I requested 5 weeks ago. If you remember they are trying to prevent me getting hold of it under certain laws. However, If they stop me from acquiring the said info them I believe it would make a great news story.

I shall keep you all updated, but please keep ask friends and family to email their MPs asking them to support our Armed Forces and Veterans by signing EDM 288 and placing their names on the Petition.
