The live feed could have been on E4 or More 4 if they had been really bothered about keeping you guys happy and you could have all been quilt watchers.

Re: Big Brother: Channel 5 close to deal
Ya I know but they didn't think of the people who had been there from the start and just messed us around. I was quite happy to pay for it online but it wasn't fair on other people who probably didn't have the internet and just got half an hour in the afternoon and the feed on late when they were going to bed

FX isn't available without a subscription, whereas channel 4 and 5 are

Yeah, stopping the live feed was a big mistake of Channel4.

Did Channel 4 have a contract with Virgin Media with the red button?

I believe it was only Telewest viewers that had the red button live feed, for only one or two series

Re: Big Brother: Channel 5 close to deal
You could only get it the full live feede via the red button and then on the back of the red button you could get all the live feed on sky if you put in the frequency no but then channel 4 took away full live feed so you could only watch an hour or sometimes half an hour and then it came back on again at one or two in the morning when they were all gone to ged or going to bed

Re: Big Brother: Channel 5 close to deal
Suspect the figures only went up a fraction last year as it was the last series. Certainly 2010 was still lower than 2008 by over a million viewers a show.

Big Brother has a loyal fan base, you only have to look at Digital Spy's forum to see that. There is a whole forum of it's own over there.

Re: Big Brother: Channel 5 close to deal
Ya and it was them as well who fought to have the live feed back as well and channel 4 gave in to the live feed but only paying for it on line which I didn't care as it was very cheap as well
