Guessing they're going on an area by area basis you'll get it eventually

I got my Dear Mr K letter today. They will get their Dear Retentions phone call shortly..... That's how the game is played and a tedious game it is too.....

Re: VM News Another Price Increase
I got the email and called up to negotiate. I was going to pay £64.50 in total after the price increase.
They couldn't offer me any discounts and ended up cancelling.
The next day retentions called me to offer me broandand on it's own for £31 (350m) or including phone line for £38.
While I don't really need the landline I still went for the latter (still not sure why).

Re: VM News Another Price Increase
Phoned up this morning to cancel got £10 a month knocked off to £71 odd and £11 credit for September's bill couldn't turn that offer down
£71 to what would have been £85 is a very good offer and wasn't worth the hassle of arguing or switching to save an extra £6 with talktalk

Re: VM News Another Price Increase
Mine was nearly £4.50 for just broadband, so their increases are just randomly generated. Still works out the same as a new customer so perhaps I am lucky, but no good being loyal.

You need to phone up and get through to customer relations, mine had gone to £97, managed to get it down to £74, going up to £79 in September .

I'm on the same package as you and i'm currently paying £71.50 on a deal which ends in September after which mine goes up to £81.50 as stated on my contract.
I haven't had anything about the price rise yet though.

Re: VM News Another Price Increase
One bill goes up, another comes down.
My daughter has had the unlimited VIP mobile tariff for a few years. It went up to £27, but a "Monthly Tariff Discount" of £2 to 2037 appeared ages ago dropping it to £25. Now her bill has another discount "Monthly Charge Refund" of £4.00 that has dropped it to £21. ???
