Never watched Saw 1 or 2, jumped straight to 3, can't say I was that impressed, the 'horror' scenes were like something out of a 1970's Hammer House of Horror show

Last movie I saw was one called Thr3e - I thought it was going to be your run on the mill thriller but it was suprisingly good - I'd give it 7/10 - not worth going to the cinema to see but if it ever pops up on TV worth a watch

The Reaping - can't believe I paid £6.50 to watch that dirge. Still, the popcorn was nice. 2/10

Flushed Away - 9/10... Enjoyed it. Animated silliness, but I liked it

re: Rate the last movie you saw
Just finished watching Ice Age 2 - the Meltdown, which is sort of ice age meets global warming.
The animation is cleverer than the first one (especially the fur) but the story is much weaker. There are plenty of gags but not half as many of the powerful, heart-warming moments like "That's what you do in a herd - you look out for each other."
Could do better.

Next, Mmmm, what can I say say, mixed fellings about this one, started good, faded, came back and in the end, it was Mr Black, in the Library, well that would be telling.
5 / 10

The Queen 10/10
Managed to bring tears to my eyes on a few occasions, Helen Mirren is fantastic.
They have Cherie Bliar down to a T aswell.
The Prestige 8/10
Very interesting, the long flashback style of the journal entries may confuse a few people, and as with all magic, the result is obvious when you know how.
Worth watching, but not the sort of film you'd watch more than once.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
Well, the ending was slightly dissapointing, yes, but it was effective enough to make me think "aww, that poor guy's been poisoned, he's falling to his imminent death, and he's sending a really sad message to his girlfriend..."
