That's very easy to say now and rather illogical. You can have the outright record for number of league wins AND go unbeaten for one season.
It's not a case of one or the other, they bear no relation to each other in the context you've used.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
The point was more to do with Arsenal fans going on about their unbeaten run. For most United fans winning a 19th league title is far more important than going unbeaten for the season. Yes we could have had both but at the end of the season if we've won the league i won't look back thinking 'if only we went the season unbeaten'.

The ref had a shocker. Nolan should have been off, second penalty wasn't a penalty. I dunno, what can you do.

You forgot to add Newcastle having a perfectly legitimate goal ruled out as well

Actually there is two and only one of them did it without conceding a single goal

Meh. Crucial thing is the team responds. I worry what this will do when defending leads but Arsenal had mostly recovered from that problem this year and it took a weird set of decisions and mistakes for it to happen. At the end of the weekend it will be a point gained on United, with the regret being that it culd have been 3. Wolves gave us a 'get out of Jail free' card.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Really enjoyed the match at Eastlands yesterday (and Mary D`s afterwards was fun as you can imagine )
Still think City should have pushed on a bit more in the second half to try and get the goal difference up a bit but saying that West Brom seemed a different team and played much better football second half.
Most of the players looked like it was a case of job-done, lets not exert ourselves to much which allowed W.B.A to have quite a few close shaves with Joe Hart having to pull off a few decent saves!
What i can`t for the life of me work out is why`s Mancini trying to convert James Milner into a holding midfield player. Almost every time he got the ball he had a good ten yards of space in front of him yet opted to pass straight way, normally sideways. I allways remember Milner when he played for Villa going down the wing and whipping in some great crosses, he just seems wasted playing where he is
It certainly was a strange day for premiership football, but i suppose that`s been the case most of the season...

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Looks a tight game in the 2376th old Firm match of the season, 2 red cards, 2 goals each, 10 mins to go.

Re: Football Season 2010/2011
Nice on Liverpool.
So Arsenal gained a point on United, 1 point further from Chelsea but Spurs, City and Liverpool are the real winners this weekend.
