I'm on the Baguley server in South Manchester and we've been upgraded about a week. Mind you I do keep checking the connection daily with the Cable Forum speed test and, touch wood, it seems pretty good so far. Here's today's test results:-
Wed, 21 Jun 2006 06:17:54 GMT
1st 512K took 1093 ms = 468.4 KB/sec, approx 3860 Kbps, 3.77 Mbps
2nd 512K took 1094 ms = 468 KB/sec, approx 3856 Kbps, 3.77 Mbps
3rd 512K took 1078 ms = 475 KB/sec, approx 3914 Kbps, 3.82 Mbps
4th 512K took 1297 ms = 394.8 KB/sec, approx 3253 Kbps, 3.18 Mbps
Overall Average Speed = approx 3721 Kbps, 3.64 Mbps
Keep checking the maintenance logs for upgrades. We had about a week's work done before the new speed arrived.

Creeping slowly eastwards then, but Norwich still seems to be beyond its reach. Does this mean I have to wait until the 28th - or could tomorrow prove to be the day? That is (and I'm sorry if the question has already been answered), is the upgrade taking place day by day or only once a week?

I woke up 5 minutes ago... immediately went downstairs.... rebooted the modem and came back upstairs to check.... still 2 meg!
I am SO glad I am not married or I think that sort of behaviour is grounds for divorce!

thats better then been billed for 4 meg and on a 2meg product.
I know its a "free" upgrade so same price but the legality of billing someone for a product they dont have is questionable I think.

Re: [Merged] Speed Increases 1st June - 2meg to 4meg
Checked my speed five minutes ago and I am now on 4340 kbps / 531,9 k bytes/sec. I hope I am not junping the gun by presuming that Watford has now been upgraded.
---------- Post added at 09:52 ---------- Previous post was at 09:39 ----------
And ... Watford isn't listed on the current 'Service Schedule' - dated 15.06 06 - so it would seem that upgrading is being done separately [?].
