Nothing offensive in saying "off their nut" as the picture quality is totally shocking

The 'offensive' part was removed by the Mod Edit.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 6.

Is this a new package from Virgin?

http://store.virginmedia.com/bundles...al-family.html

Seems the only difference between this and the Premier Collection is 30mb broadband instead of 60mb and no secondary box in your house.

£19.50 per month for 6 months then £39.00 per month thereafter (plus £15.99 per month line rental) is pretty good value.

It's one of the new packs. More are coming apparantly.

There's a bug on the VM site - when you select this collection, it defaults to 60Mb broadband instead of 30Mb.

I might get this collection actually, I rarely use the 2nd box and I don't really need 60Mb broadband (who does, really?)

I started a thread on this the other day (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/10...ollection.html) as I think it's defo a good value pack.

theone are there defo more packs coming as I'm currently wanting to upgrade to Premiere for the additional STB but may hang fire if some better value ones are 'coming soon'

I don't see any sign of other Collections on the way. This one is intended to fill a gap in the line-up for people who want the XL TV channels, but not an extra box or the higher broadband speed of Premiere.

From what i've heard there is but take it with a pinch of salt. Spiderplant and Ben would know more about this than me atm.
My most trusted source hasn't said anything about new packs but a other source has said 3 new packs are coming , as i said take it with a pinch of salt atm.

Re: Coming soon to Virgin TV (2013) Vol. 6.

Your source may be correct as I wouldn't be surprised if they either revamp or replace the Premiere & VIP Collections as I do believe that the new Essential Family Collection is great value at £39 + line rental but has slightly devalued the two higher packs.

I think it's a great addition to the line up. Really good value. Top all round package for those on a limited budget.

This is the pack i'm basically on except i have 60mb broadband and it's £54.99p/m once my offer expires. Atm it's £44.99p/m even at £54.99p/m i think it's great value for what i'm getting.

Have some kids in the house all streaming video at the same time and you'll change your mind !

Not for everyone, I agree, but the extra capacity is handy for my family
