Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Even though he guaranteed his gun running, tax evading father would have no input in the club, this comes out, so much for the much vaunted 'fit and proper persons' test
The father of Pompey owner Alexandre Gaydamak has been bankrolling the club's transfers, even though he is also the owner of an Israeli team. (Daily Express)

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Wycombe did well tonight. Paul Lambert must be very happy with his team. Dunno if anyone watched the Aberdeen v Hibs game tonight, but it was a cracking 2-2 draw.

On any even happier note
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed to a "close friend" that he will quit Chelsea in the summer. (Sun)

Don't think I'd sell him, even for that huge sum, he is vital to your club, even more so than Rooney imo
