Well yes..
The list for the compilation is as follows:
Eagles Of Death Metal - So Easy
Auf Der Maur - Followed The Waves
Franz Ferdinand - Matinee
Mark Lanegan Band - Wedding Dress
PJ Harvey - This Is Love
Queens Of The Stone Age - Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret
Eagles Of Death Metal - Only Want You
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Man
Mark Lanegan Band - Come To Me
The Faint - Southern Belles In London Sing
The Distillers - Dismantle Me
Mark Lanegan Band - Head
Auf Der Maur - I'll Be Anything You Want
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
The Dandy Warhols - We Used To Be Friends
Desert Sessions - Dead In Love
dEUS - For The Roses
Not so keen on the last track but have enjoyed the rest..the only three groups I knew of were the Yeah,Yeahs(so distinctive),Queens of the Stone Age and The Dandy Warhols.

Don't get me started on The Distillers. The lead singer is not a particularly nice woman who was married Tim Armstrong, who is the lead singer of one of my favourite bands, Rancid (check my sig). She messed him around and divorced him, and he took up drinking and almost killed himself again.
And her music is s**t. They'd never have got anywhere if Tim didn't take her on under his Hellcat label. Apparently she's now involved with one of the QOTSA members, which would explain her song's appearence on the compilation.

Ounky, I really don't want to be making a habit of agreeing with you so stop it will ya! I hate Brody cps in every picture she's always leaning over with her bra popping out her top and cleavage akimbo. This seems to be THe Distillers key selling tool. That and having her way with rock god, Josh Homme (sorry, no nowth about Rancid but Queens of the Stone Age are - adopts Tommy Vance voice (RIP) -Mighty Gods of Rock
