I try.
Today's happy: I'm going to wear my manga wig all day. The OH is killing himself that I have green hair! Getting used to having a fringe that I haven't had for decades is still weird.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
I made my niece cry on her birthday, I'll explain.
I gave her an envelope which had a letter. I started with:
"A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.
No.. wait that the Star Wars intro
A long time ago.. well mid January 2001"
I had opened a bank account for her.
She started to lose it and and as she hugged me the floodgates opened and she sobbed into my shoulder.
She never saw it coming.
She now gets why we saying to her apply for your driving licence
My nephew said "Can I punch you for making my sister cry"
He must know he's getting one.

@ Tinky Happy belated anniversary
@ Hom3r your so nice and generally a good person, I wish the world was filled with people like you.
I'm seriously thinking about getting a tattoo of the symbol strength, something very discreet that would be in white ink on the inside of my little finger, I can't believe I'm considering this but I am.

You do it Weenie as our late friend was the last person you would think would have a tattoo but his daughter who is a tattooist managed to talk him round as he had a small native Indian tattoo done for him.

How much was it before and how you swing that? I always struggle to get much off Virgin when I call up retentions.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Our package before was around £152 and now is just over £120
Talk More Anytime
Full House TV (XL)
2 Additional TV Box
Virgin Tv V6 Box, Powered By Tivo
TiVo Monthly Fee
VIVID 200 Optical Fibre
Sky Sports and Cinema Collection
Sky Sports HD Pack
Telephone Line Rental
l just said our contract has ended and that we are thinking of leaving l was polite and well mannered to them and l stated that we had been loyal customers for some time but were not happy with how prices had risen and stated that we were considering our options with them and she looked at the account quickly and within 2 minutes offered us over £30 off our monthly bill for 12 months and after a quick discussion with the boss we accepted the new offer.
Customer Relations can now be contacted as follows
Either dial 150 from your VM Landline, then choose option 1 initially and then choose option 4 and finally option 5.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Just booked flights for our Summer holibobs - out to Larnaca (staying near Catalkoy in North Cyprus) in late June, fly back just under 2 weeks later.
Something to look forward to...
