Slight change of attitude from Bayern Munich
I am not sure he is worth it, or even if he is needed....

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
1531: GOAL Nottingham Forest 2-0 Charlton
The Addicks are in trouble as Grant Holt makes it two for Forest with a simple close-range header and the visitors' defence nowhere to be seen. Justice, perhaps, as seconds earlier it looked like Jonathan Fortune had put through is own net with a shot that crashed back off the bar and seemingly over the line.
1527: GOAL Nottingham Forest 1-0 Charlton
James Perch breaks down the left and his low cross is converted by Junior Agogo for his fifth goal of the season.
1520: Nathan Tyson whips a cross in from the left for Nottingham Forest but James Perch heads wide after climbing well to beat Charlton's defenders to the ball.
1515: Nottingham Forest's Nathan Tyson goes on a glory run, but after a length-of-the-field run he stumbles at the last and cannot get a shot away on the edge of the box.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
3-0, Should restore some confidence with a bit of luck
Also anyone seen this story yet, to call it a shock move is an understatement , although I think he is a good player, is he better than what they already have?
Chelsea are considering a shock move for Aston Villa striker Milan Baros. (Various)

Likewise, winning against a prem side, albeit a **** one, should kick start us again.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Excellent results from Forest , Swansea & Oldham Athletic, in fact I would venture to say that a 2-2 draw away at Wolves is equal to a home win against Charlton.
Jim.

Re: Football Talk 2006/2007 Season
Gutted for Martin O'Neill and the players... Villa deserved a replay really.
ps - Anyone else fed up with the Beeb's commentators being so one-sided whenever one of the Top-5 teams plays? For example, Lawrenson said, with 20 minutes to go and before Villa has scored, that they'd had their last chance and it was in the bag for Man U, blah blah blah. He had to change his tune a few minutes later of course
To be honest, I don't mind Sky having the rights to Premiership footy, because their commentators are so much better. Andy Gray is such a better commentator, imo.

So true. At half time I want some analysis I don't want to see clips of Schmeichel dancing or working for Danish TV!

Shows how bad the BBC is when you say that Andy Gray is better...do the BBC do that red button service, like they do with the internationals, where you can just have the match sound, on the FA cup coverage?
