Re: The Xbox One Thread
I am still waiting for an email from Amazon about my extra controller. The money still hasnt come out of my bank and hasnt even been ring fenced yet. It still shows as delivery eta is 22/11 but im worried now.
Just been reading reading the review on DS and it seems Skype doesnt snap when in a game or another applcation which is very disappointing, the invitation ad shows as demo of this snapped while Fifa is being played.
On the plus side it says that Forza 5 can start playing once 13% has been installed to the HDD from the disk, no word of a % from a DD verison thou.

I have just checked my Amazon order for BF4 and it says 'despatching now'.
Don't worry about your controller, if it doesn't ship before you want it then cancel it and buy in a shop.

I was thinking that but reason i am wanting it from Amazon is because i have a £25 gift code for them so the controller is costing me £20 instead of £45

Re: The Xbox One Thread
Just had a rather interesting email from Amazon. My BF4 is now enroute however this came in another email with it.
Quote:
Dear Customer, Congratulations! Since you have traded-in an eligible video game with Amazon.co.uk, you qualify for a £22 credit towards your future purchase of a qualifying next generation video game. Simply add a qualifying video game to your basket, and £22 will automatically be taken off your purchase price. You have until February 28, 2014 to claim your savings.
The promotion code must be used by 28 February 2014.
|
I haven't traded in any game so i better see what a qualifying game is and order it quickly!

I just tried randomly adding a X1 game to my Amazon basket and it only gave me £5 off, really not sure how this all works and where i can view any certificates in my account.
edit
Scrap the above it was for if approved for an Amazon mastercard, so i am still confuzzled.
edit
My gift cert balance is £0 so i shall possibly ignore the email sent in error.
