re: Rate the last movie you saw
Saw The Andromeda Strain again last night. For a 35 year old science fiction film, it has stood the test of time well. Some of the science is a bit fanciful, but the author (M Crichton) wrote the book when in medical school. 9/10.

I thought that was the A strain, caught a few minutes of it before bed. Read the book as well which is as good as the film.

Yes - one of the few times that the film holds "true" to the book. Except that one of the scientists changes sex...

What? On screen?
Sure it wasn't "Tootsie" you were watching.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
neighbour lent us the transporter 2 last night, and I was quite surprised to find that I quite enjoyed it - not usually my cup of tea, but the action was quite stunning, and there is an underlying 'americans (and anyone other than the english hero) are stupid' tone to the whole thing which amused me! matthew modine is annoying as ever though. 9/10

re: Rate the last movie you saw
Got Hoodwinked on DVD the other week and watched it last Saturday - it was really funny in places - very enjoyable (7/10).
Watched Mr & Mrs Smith last night - it was okay once it got going, but it was very slow starting, we almost gave up on it (5/10).

The Secret. 9/10 drags on a bit but it is very well put together and I think I understand more now.

M:i:III (HD-DVD)
Good fun. Guns, gadgets, & explosions.
Much better than the first 2.
8/10

Batman Begins (HD-DVD)
Awesome. 10/10.
Still the best comic-book movie adaptation, of the best comic-book character.
----------------------------
Miami Vice (HD-DVD)
Hmm.
Very good in parts, very dull & slow in others.
Not Michael Mann's best.
6/10

Totally agree about Miami Vice.
I watched it last night, for me, Colin Farrell doesn't quite pull it off. Jamie Foxx is good, but there are too many weak performances in this. Again 6/10.
