Does anyone know if a refusal to migrate is acceptable grounds for breaking a contract in the eyes of Virgin?

It's vaguely worded, so I imagine that todays Virgin will dispute that a person is at a material disadvantage if forced to change to the 360 in the same way that they tried (and failed) to say that the loss of the UKTV channels was not a major change and was covered in their general clause that people cannot cancel without penalty if they drop channels

In the old days when the Sky basics were removed, NTL allowed people to cancel without penalty(after offering incentives to stay).

I'm going to have to consider the state of play at contract renewal time if there are any indications that the V6 may be terminated in favour of a 360 before entering into a new contract.

Emailed to me from Virgin Media

From 14th December 2022, BoxNation will be closing on all platforms in the UK and will no longer be available.

Following on from the closure you will no longer be charged for BoxNation, and you’ll be automatically reimbursed if you’ve been billed for it already.

Thanks,

The Virgin Media team

Virgin Media has updated the TV Guide on V6, 360 and Stream with the updated logos for ITV channels.
On other platforms (Freeview and Sky) the BBC's channel logos have been updated at the same time, but on Virgin Media the old pre-Oct 2021 logos are still being used.

			Press release https://www.skygroup.sky/en-gb/artic...ise-favourites
I wonder if it will replace Sky Replay or E! , the latter closes on Sky Deutschland at the end of this year.

Given that VM customers do not currently have access to any of the Sky Kids on demand content, it will be interesting to see if they negotiate for the linear channel and on demand content to join the Kids Pack.
Do you know if Sky also sold their stake in Comedy Central UK, or was it just Nickelodeon UK that they sold their stake in? Now that Paramount+ is in the UK I'm sure that Paramount will want full control of all their content.

My sources have told me that BBC One Oxford and BBC One East (West) brands will stay on air after December 17th.
BBC Oxford will broadcast the same news as viewers in Cambridge.

BBC One East (West) will broadcast the same news as viewers on BBC One East (East).

I was told they will be simulcasting until the BBC regional changes happen on each platform.

 | Erm... no. The news from BBC South surely.

There's little point in keeping the "brands" unless they plan to reverse the decision. It prevents a smooth transition to the enlarged BBC South / BBC East regions.
