Re: [Merged]-Major connection issues!
Like everyone else, random sporadic loading of the bbc, yahoo, myspace and a couple of others.
Flickr is fine so far, as is youtube and (touch wood) MSN... but I'm not holding my breath!
I expect like the last time, this will be resolved at the same rate as the last one...
and isn't this the third time this year already that this has happened?

Re: [Merged]-Major connection issues!
Same problem for me in Brighton.
Lots of sites do not work. When they do come back for a short period it is very slow.

Re: [Merged]-Major connection issues!
NTL server status now says there is a national outage, and is being looked into - certainly explains why the internet has been so awful tonight!!!

Non of it makes any difference, I contacted by brother who is also on NTL (4meg though) & he is having the same issues (he lives 10 houses away)
Anyway, can anyone tell me if they are having any issues within the area!
Thanks!

MSN always goes off when the Web Browsing of the ISP is down.

Re: [Merged]-Major connection issues!
yahoo mail still cocked!
Onlyme - more than likely it is a bot DOS attack on the DNS servers. It is a quick and easy way to attack a complete network. I wonder if NTL have recently had emails asking for bazillions of pounds to stop the attack?
