I've got no issue with a girl having a healthy sex life ,just one that lets a man sit in jail for 2 yrs for something he didn't do .If she had spoken up during the 2 yrs ,said something to hint that she had made a mistake then i might have a better opinion of her but she has said not one word

From what I can gather she did not say she was raped, the police decided to prosecute based on what they heard had gone on, so what is she supposed to do?

Well they only had her version of what went on to form a case didn't they ,if i remember she told the police she thought she had been drugged and woke up alone ,clearly that wasn't the case. She may have been drunk but not that drunk as the judge said drunken consent during sex is still consent .
The whole thing is a mess neither party has come out well from and i don't think they deserve to either .Their own actions created the situation ,no sympathy whatsoever for either of them

Yet one is a "tramp" and a " thing", whereas the other is just a silly boy.
Didn't realise you were a bitter and angry woman hater. I think you need to see someone, it probably all has something to do with your relationship with your mother when you were a child.

I agree with you that its a mess but the reality is that in future women may be put off coming forward after they have seen what a highly paid lawyer can do to stain their reputation by bringing up their past.

Wow ,such an insightful post ,clearly you have plenty of input ...........or just trolling again
How about you contribute something worthwhile instead of being a jack ass .I have explained my opinion of her and why i think she is what she is and i'm sure i'm not alone in that ,you however seem to be sure she is a paragon of virtue ,that's your prerogative. He is far from a "silly boy" as i have repeatedly stated if you bother to read ,i can think of a lot worse things to call her and him but rules is rules
You need to apologize for this remark ,totally uncalled for

The lawyers didn't stain her reputation ,the judge after much deliberation allowed evidence showing her past history to be allowed into evidence ,that hasn't taken any money at all it was the basis of the appeal. If a woman has genuinely been raped or assaulted then of course they should come forward and should be encouraged to but at the same time if a woman makes false claims or allows the wrong conclusion to be drawn without speaking out she must be taken to task

You were asked in post 101 to withdraw comments you have made, and have declined to do so as yet, so do I.

Please keep things civil between each other, if you can't then don't reply to each other.

Looks like some senior people are uncomfortable about this whole episode.
http://news.sky.com/story/ched-evans...cuser-10618715
Vera Baird, police and crime commissioner for Northumbria and former solicitor general, told the BBC: "The only difference between a clear conviction of Mr Evans in 2012 and the absolute refusal of him having any leave to appeal at that time, and his acquittal now, is that he has called some men to throw discredit on [the woman's] sexual reputation.
"That, I think, is pouring prejudice, which is exactly what used to happen before the law in 1999 stopped the admission of previous sexual history in order to show consent.
"We've gone back, I'm afraid, probably about 30 years."

Re: Footballer rape trial: Ched Evans cleared, Clayton McDonald cleared
I am a parent of two boys and a girl. And l thin the biggest problem we have in this world today. Is when someone is accused of rape. Whether its a man or woman is the victim.
I would say that MOST men if they have been raped never come forward. Due to this 'manly thing'
And this thing that this case has put law back 30 years. Total rubbish.
Rape is an evil crime against the person. But we have to look at several things. Men do take advantage of women. And they re used as sexual toys.
But the law must be there to protect BOTH parties and must investigate thoroughly. So that the truth does comes out before going to court. As both the victim and the suspect suffer. Especially IF the suspect says that he innocent.
The first couple of hours are crucial.
Remember, rape is a crime where a person has sex without consent

Am struggling to decipher this Arthur - might be wise to wait until after the crystal meth has worn off before posting.

On some internet and facebook sites, even though there was a court order banning it.
