1TB Tivo was £149 and free install
1TB Tivo is now £99 plus £49 activation fee...

1TB is now £99 fitted and running

1/2 TB is £50

£3 rental for each account (as many boxes as you want)

I'm thinking about getting another for the kitchen

Re: Is the TiVo charge now £3 per month on all TV packs?

Do you still have to pay for Multiroom when you take up Tivo. Currently we have 2 V+ boxes and we're on the Triple XL package.

If we changed 1 or even both of these to Tivo, would we just pay the £3 a month for Tivo or would we still be paying for Multiroom on top. We were sent an offer last month about getting Tivo and being able to move one of our existing V+ boxes to another room without any monthly costs but we don't need another box we just want to replace existing boxes.

Yeah, its still £6.25 (or £6.50?) per each additional box regardless of what type it is.

Re: Is the TiVo charge now £3 per month on all TV packs?

Hi, a bit of advice needed here,

Currently i have the following,

BB L
TV L
Phone L
Sky Sports collection
Caller Display

Would i be right in thinking it would £71.45 per month for an Existing customer if i was to add the 500GB TiVo box? Or do Existing customers get any offers?

Very confusing then, I read it the same way. It states in The Legal Stuff "TiVo activation fee is £49.95 with all TV packages" if you don't pay it or it's already included why put it there?

I think you'd actually enter a 18 month agreement. It's one of the main reasons I won't get TiVo. My 12 contract is now up. During this current financial climate I want the flexibility of being able to cancel my agreement, free of charge, if either myself or my partner are made redundant. Alternatively I'll just continue to wait as at this rate Virgin will be offering customers £49.00 to take Tivo from them by Christmas!

My brothers pal works at the Virgin store in the Gyle in Edinburgh. He claimed, after a few beers, that TiVO is not making the initial impact Virgin had hoped for in terms of existing customers signing up. Does anyone know how many Virgin customers now have TiVo? Does 10,000 customers / households sound about right?

One if the initial reasons I did not go for TiVo is because if the activation fee.
Now that this has been waived, I might consider it.

Still waiting for one of the features available in USA where you can record and then watch online, or on portable device. If I knee that was coming soon I would subscribe right away.

Re: Is the TiVo charge now £3 per month on all TV packs?

I put this in the billing forum as well but basically I called Virgin and they credited me the difference between what I paid 6 weeks ago and what the prices are now

Way off the mark, it's a heck of a lot more than that.

I think we will know soon enough from VM when TiVo sales hit a substantial landmark like 250,000 installs!

They will really start moving over the coming months at their current price point.
