Yeah, very funny, not! A gay guy having his manhood covered in jelly and fondled by a woman. Last one to see it was my mother.
Still good news on the result.

More good news: The car (Colt) just passed its MOT. Only one advisory, one of the rear tyres is getting worn. MOT man said it was a very nice car.

Osem Jnr has his first job interview next week. If all goes well he'll have a post for September. Fingers crossed...

Excellent old bean.
Well its the opposite for us today as its highly likely we are facing a bill of £250 plus for our car.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
My car has started leaking small amounts of oil. Think it's days are numbers but trying to keep to going as long as possible as I resent paying £££££ for a new (used) car.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Our car is 13 years old now and its just gets more and more expensive repairing it so we are getting very close to just getting rid of it.

If it's engine oil not usually an issue except for the mess and needing a top up but make sure it's not gearbox.

I decided to look for something Japanese built when I took the Metro GTi off the road for intensive care & restoration. Hence the Mitsubishi Colt. Right car, low mileage and at the right price.

It's your money mate and if it makes life easier I'd say it's worth it.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
My niece has been struggling to focus and concentrate on school stuff.
Turns out she has minor dyslexia, but she's still on for getting A's in the school exams.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
@dilli, good. Anything that makes life bearable for you is money well spent.
@Hom3r, good for your niece for not letting dyslexia stop her.
My happy thought is that as of half 12 Thursday just gone, I am on holiday until March 5. Need a week off to let my body recover, I love the job but my God it really kills the body if you don't get time to rest properly.
