The authorities in Sweden are making plans to expel as many as 80,000 failed asylum-seekers, the interior minister has been quoted as saying.

Anders Ygeman said charter aircraft would be used to deport the migrants but it would take several years.

Some 163,000 migrants applied for asylum in Sweden in 2015, the highest per capita number in Europe.

Best of luck with that eh. I'm sure the targeted masses are just going to sit around quietly playing dominoes waiting for the day when they're forced to return to the countries they fled...

Where will they deport them too though? If they're economic migrants with an identified nationality then fair enough but if they're claiming asylum and they don't know where they have come from (likely) then what do you do?

I think this a good way to do it. First of all they're children so higher priority, then there is the fact they're being taken from outside the EU so little incentive to make it over and also any integration problems are likely to be avoided as they're grow up in the UK.

Well 'we' know that better than most don't we - it's just a sop to the general public. There's no way it will happen, as has been the case here, most of them will either disappear or set about building the 'family ties' they know will prevent them being sent anywhere. I'd be surprised if even 10% will ever be removed. The word has long got out to the world and his wife that in Europe, occupation is nine tenths of the law.

Except that their human rights will allow their parents and all the extended family to join them as well. But I'm sure they'll all integrate into UK society.

Indeed children could be cynically used as a gateway into the UK by all and sundry.

I just hope all these vulnerable children are going to receive better 'care' and 'support' than a good many of their UK born and bred counterparts have been the recipients of. I hope they get all the support they need to keep them safe and ensure they fully integrate and become valued members of society. I'm sure there are copious finances, resources and properly trained staff just sitting around twiddling their thumbs with nothing to do whilst waiting for them to arrive.

I think taking them from camps is the right thing to do - so far as I'm concerned the migrants in Calais are living in (and subjecting their children to) appalling conditions when they're in a safe EU country and the only danger they face is self imposed. If we allow people to effectively blackmail us into giving them entry where will it all end? We're seeing what results when that happens all throughout Europe.

I'm just listening to Yvette Cooper banging on about vulnerable, lonely children wandering around Europe. Has she ever had a stroll around parts of London and many other of our major towns and cities I wonder. I don't hear her offering to do anything about that appalling state of affairs.

When asked about her personal offer to house refugees she quickly backtracked, however, suggesting that the govt. had suggested that would not be the best way to help then moved on. No surprise there then eh? So easy to talk the talk isn't it...

Migrants and refugees arriving on the Greek islands would immediately be sent back by ferry to Turkey, under a Dutch plan aimed at solving the crisis.

Under the proposal, Labour party leader Diederik Samsom says that in return the EU would offer to take in up to 250,000 refugees a year currently in Turkey.

More than 850,000 people arrived on the Greek islands from Turkey last year.

The plan would need to be in place by spring, before the next surge in numbers is expected, he says.

Pro Migrant Campaigners FAKED Migrant Death For Propaganda

A pro mass migration volunteer at a refugee centre has admitted fabricating the death of a Syrian migrant, who supposedly died of the cold waiting for handouts in Berlin. The story was widely reported Germany, and used to lobby for extra money and resources for migrants.

This is like king canute trying to stop the tide.This migrant tide will never ever stop.Europe is in a trance like state trying to be"inclusive,diversive,fair,sympathetic,non racist,compassionate,etc.Chaos will reign in europe and it will tear itself apart.And i fear that some kind of armed insurrection may take place in the near future.Masters of their own destiny(and downfall) indeed.

There are always those who can't see beyond the ends of their noses. What do these deluded people think will happen when another 3 million more head this way? By the time they've woken up to what's happening it'll be too late to do anything about it. I really don't know how much more evidence they need before they see the enormity of what's going on and the massive problems which lie ahead in coping with everything which will result from this staggering influx. In a way they remind me of the poor souls who stood staring as the waters of the Indian Ocean receded in eerie silence prior to the deadly tsunami which followed.

It is "virtually impossible" to know whether ISIS fighters are sneaking into the UK disguised as refugees, a British intelligence official claims.

The terror group has raided so many passport offices in Syria that ISIS chiefs are said to have a huge stock of fake IDs to supply Europe-bound fighters.

At terror camps in their capital Raqqa, commanders now freely hand out these fake Syrian passports to their followers, the unnamed official said.

The jihadis are then ordered to hide among the thousands of Syrian nationals fleeing the war-ravaged country and heading towards Europe, he added.

Nya Tider is now the first newspaper to reveal that not even the white lie that the arrested Somalis are ”Swedish citizens” is right – all the detainees are Somali citizens, and of all the suspects only one has a Swedish citizenship.

Five times more attacks were carried out on migrant hostels in Germany last year than in 2014, German police say.

The total for 2015 was 1,005, compared with 199 in 2014, the police report said. Far-right activists are suspected in 90% of the cases.

Last year a record 1.1 million people sought asylum in Germany - many from war-torn Syria. Many local authorities have struggled to house them.

Germany is expanding its list of safe countries, hoping to curb the influx.
