Bond 50 & Skyfall, so all 23 bond films in 1080p HD, so 23 Blu-Ray films for less than £3.50 per disc.

Re: What have you just bought?
An Easter present for me. I am being plagued by Groundsel in our gravel garden and I am fed up with trying to hand weed the area so I went out yesterday and bought a Gas lance.
The sight of the groundsel curling up and being incinerated gave me a worrying sense of power. I am going to wage war on the dandelions in the lawn next.
John has been a kill joy though. He has given me notice that if I so much as look at the moss on the drive he will confiscate my new toy. Just because the moss is under the back of the car, anyone would think it was dangerous wafting a blow torch near a petrol tank.

It does work with a cordless drill (the more revs the better) but is much more efficient using an old fashioned mains powered one so my ancient old drill is reserved for this purpose now.

You're welcome. That invention was one of the very first things I ever bought on shopping TV (QVC IIRC) and it's been marvellous over the years. So much so that I bought another 'deluxe' set (bigger range of sizes) a couple of years later all of which I still have and use. It really is remarkable how effective, clean and quick it is. You can use a plastic bag covered cardboard box for the spinning and then throw the bag away but I tend to use a cheap plastic waste paper bin which I just rinse out and reuse. Let us know what you think when you've had chance to use it.
This subject's given me an idea for a new thread too...

Re: What have you just bought?
2 solid pine chest of drawers that the missus has been nagging about for ages. Got 20% off due to damaged packaging, so a lot cheaper than if I did another self-build.

Re: What have you just bought?
Never seen them in our local Lidls. Isn't the fat supposed to play a big part of the flavour of meat? Do you cook them in just the same way as steak?

Re: What have you just bought?
I've been buying various tools and storage boxes to put bits and bobs in,
There's a big difference in price between Amazon/Ebay/CPC.Farnell
all identical new items, and out of around £120 in total I've spent. it would have cost at least £200 more had I had paid top price for them.

That's what they say but these taste good. Only 91 calories per 100g so good if you're watching the waistline. Lower than chicken breast.
I cooked them like steak on a cast iron griddle, medium.

Cheers, I'll have a look later and if I see some give them a try.

Re: What have you just bought?
Some more spice containers as we have a lot of spices but not enough containers to put them into.
